This is no joke: Enlisted has battles on the moon
On April 1, right after the release of the new campaign about Stalingrad, the authors of Enlisted posted on the official website news about a very unusual event called "The Unknown War". The shooter, which focuses on a realistic portrayal of World War II, suddenly offered gamers to go to the moon, where allegedly unscathed Nazis live. Many people treated this as an April Fool's joke. But then it became clear that the mode is quite working, and you can have fun in it even today.
"The Unknown War" in Enlisted
You should not expect an in-depth plot from the new addition - the entourage is quite appropriate for B-movies. For example, the Nazis did not actually surrender in 1945, but moved to a satellite of the Earth to give there a decisive battle. From there and need to smoke them out. And we will have to fight in the location "New Home" with a military base on the surface of the moon. Unlike the other five campaigns of the game, the events of sci-fi part takes place in the alternative modernity: 76 years passed after the storm of Berlin, and the last den of the Third Reich was found by the satellites. Nevertheless, the USSR still exists in this universe.
Naturally, the mechanics of the game has been corrected for gravity - it is not quite usual to fight in these conditions. But there are weapons such as blasters and archers, and special lunar tanks are designed for riding on the regolith. You can take part in such unusual battles until April 5 - it is possible that the mode will continue to please gamers after.
