Fans found Doom and Star Wars in Dying Light 2

The zombie action from the Polish studio Techland was released on February 4, but so far it has found secrets carefully hidden by the developers. Recently one gamer discovered a level in the style of the classic shooter Doom, the passage of which ends with a reward with a hint of Jedi magic. In other words, it's an Easter egg inside an Easter egg. A fan posted his discovery in the form of a YouTube video.

To unlock the secret you need to collect five black ducks, which are hidden in different places on the map. Then you must complete one of the story tasks called "Broadcasting" - only after that in the building where the events of the quest unfold, access to the right room will open. Once in it and placing the found toys on the tables with candles, the adventurer connects the cabinets with wires, gets his hands on a shotgun and starts the level from Doom. It's stylized as a classic shooter both visually and musically. And the gameplay is a zombie shooter. After passing this location, the hero gets a weapon with a bonus - the ability to lift enemies into the air and strangle them from a distance, like Darth Vader in Star Wars.

Dying Light 2 has been at the top of Steam's online player count for a second week now. The Polish actioner has become one of the most successful releases of 2022, which rarely happens with similar long-lived games. The PC version of the game, according to review aggregator Metacritic, was rated by journalists at 79 points out of 100.
