The "Swarm" expansion released for No Man's Sky

It would seem that there is nothing more to add to the infinite and procedurally generated universe of the game No Man's Sky by Hello Games studio. But the developers still manage to release meaningful DLCs that not only improve the graphics or the space rendering mechanism. The main thing in their approach is the constant development of multiplayer. This time they presented the expedition The Swarm, where a group of friends must unravel the mystery of the origin of the mysterious Swarm and drive dangerous aliens out of the galaxy.

The game has been improved to version 6.4. And the main novelty was, of course, the arrival of the mysterious Swarm. The heroes must unite their efforts to repel the invaders and forge unique Direwasp armor from their remains, consisting of six items — a helmet, a breastplate, gloves, boots, greaves, and plates to protect the upper body. This set can be supplemented with a jetpack in the same style. Battles will take place both on the surfaces of planets and in open space — using weapons mounted on starships. In the finale, the heroes will face a battle against the main target — a ship of monstrous proportions, which can only be destroyed by a united squad that has managed to control the power of a deadly laser beam.

In addition, in The Swarm, three teams must act together — only in this case will everyone have a chance to unlock the boss battle. Victory will be given to the team that copes with the tasks faster than the rest. And even after the completion of the main mission, the Wanderers will have to clean the planets from the traces of the invasion — removing various debris, while receiving special resources and spare parts. This way you can obtain weapons like the "Creepy Wasp Disintegrator" rifle. This is already the 22nd multiplayer expedition in the game, and it will last for about eight weeks.
