Dimon bursts into Overwatch at the start of season 4
The creators of the free online shooter from Blizzard Entertainment studio announced the start of a new season. It will introduce gamers to a new heroine named D.Mon (who in the Russian-speaking community has already been dubbed Dimon), as well as a fresh battle pass with a character appearance selection mechanic, reworked ranks and maps. What exactly the developers of Overwatch changed in the just-released patch — read below.
Details of the fourth Overwatch update in 2026

The season is titled "Heroes of Busan" — this is connected to one of the maps that underwent a thorough rework. In addition, a new star appeared on the streets of the Korean city — D.Mon from the MEKA squad. In reality, this girl is named Yuna Lee, she loves video games, and in her free time from this hobby she fights enemies while controlling an armored exoskeleton. This shell, a powerful energy shield, and a sword make her a tank capable of taking the hit upon herself and quickly breaking through the enemy's defense. But when necessary, the girl frees herself from her mechanical armor to run faster and shoot from a minigun.
The changes also affected the current battle pass — from now on, it is allowed to choose a reward skin instead of settling for the default bonus. Those who already have premium are even free to use the "Level Hack" ability once and exchange the received trophy for something else. But that's not all, because in the middle of the season there will be an opportunity to get rewards from past battle passes. And you can earn prizes on the modified maps "Busan", "Paraiso", and "Eichenwalde".
From September 4 to 6, "Team Runs" will take place. This is a series of challenges where special bonuses are awarded for achievements as part of a squad, not individually. Also, developers from Blizzard introduced a "Combat Feedback" feature into the game — with an indicator of your group's status, tank hero statistics, a list of successful streaks, and other data by which everyone can evaluate the effectiveness of teamwork. Users who are passionate about leveling up can now earn the highest rank — "Emerald".
