First Contact Day is being celebrated in Star Trek Online

For fans of the Star Trek universe, this day is not an empty date. It was in April 2063, according to future chronicles, that Earthlings met the Vulcans, marking the first contact of our civilization with aliens. The authors of the game based on the science fiction series decided to support the fans and launched the First Contact Day Celebration event, which will last until May 7th, so all starship captains will have time to participate. Let's tell you what to do in MMORPG Star Trek Online throughout the month.

Gamers will face a series of activities somehow related to the Star Trek chronicles. First of all, there will be a battle in Mars' orbit, where a synthetic rebellion has broken out. The more participants unite to achieve the goals of this mission, the better the fate of the Utopia Planitia will be. Next, captains will have to repel a Borg attack in the Wolf 359 system. As is known from the TV show, this confrontation turned out to be catastrophic for humans, but the game will allow us to change the course of history. The Borg also plan to cancel the contact between Earthlings and Vulcans: thanks to an artificially created parallel timeline, they intend to prevent the Vulcan ship from landing in Bozeman, Montana. To completely foil the enemy's plan, players must, in a friendly competition format, assemble and launch Phoenix rockets—one for each participant in the competition.

As a reward for success in quests, users will receive commemorative badges for their characters, and after twenty days of progress, they can reach the main prize. Among such rewards are the Noble Intel Tier 6 Battlecruiser, specialization points, dilithium ore, the 'Toy Rocket Launch' device, and a Phoenix holographic emitter. Those not ready to spend time and effort on completing challenges can simply buy all event rewards for 6000 Zen.
