Delta Force turns two — playing with prizes

Team Jade invites you to celebrate the anniversary of its multiplayer shooter Delta Force by downloading it for free on Steam and trying out a new limited-time mode. Gamers can expect increased login rewards, activities dedicated to the celebration, a weapon skin giveaway, and free premium bundles. Most of these events have been extended through October, but it's best to start today. We'll tell you what newcomers and longtime fans of the 'Delta' will get in the near future.

The main feature of the update is the Detonation mode, which became available in the game right now, albeit in beta. According to the rules, two teams of five players battle each other. Before the match, everyone must prepare their gear, then fight their way to a designated point and plant a bomb there, or simply hold the defense until victory. Until October 25, all users will receive an increased login reward — 3900 Delta tickets, but to claim them, they'll have to complete at least one match. Also, until the 15th of next month, players can search the maps for valuable Easter eggs and take part in a mooncake giveaway that unlocks interesting weapon skins.

An unusual addition is interactive comics with puzzles, available until November 9. By completing the chapters of 'Transformation,' players will unlock special graffiti and an emote. Users can also look forward to plenty of activities, including Operations events, missions with Haavk, and team-based reward accrual, where all squad members playing match after match together receive event tokens. Until October 15, the 'Flagship Clash' will be available — a naval mode with underwater battles for teams of eight players. In 'Overload,' fighters must accumulate buffs as the battle progresses, and in the 'Vehicle Trial,' tokens will be awarded to those who handle armored vehicles better than anyone else.
