Delta Force Prepares for the «Flame Battle»
Developers from Team Jade are preparing a major update for Delta Force, which will be uploaded to the online shooter's servers on September 23. Among the list of changes, it's worth noting right away the map for the «Battles» mode, the operative codenamed Lizard, a new boss at the «Tidal Prison» location, additions to the arsenal, vehicle fleet, and weapon modifications. Players using the Steam version of the game should be prepared for the update to take up 34 GB of free disk space, while on consoles, a full 45 GB will be required. Let's delve into the main features of the upcoming patch in more detail.
What will the «Flame Battle» add to Delta Force?

With the opening of another season, many things traditionally change. Let's start with the operative named Landon Harrison, better known as Lizard. He is a tracker: conducts reconnaissance using a bird-like drone and can also detect enemy tracks on the ground and quickly determine the direction of enemy attacks. His tactical skills are complemented by EMP grenades, which disable all electronics at the explosion site. Harrison is made free for all users, regardless of level—to obtain this character, it's enough to wait just a couple more days.
The «Rift» map, designed for «Battles», offers combat among the ruins of the Middle Eastern city of Ah-Sarah. In the «Team Fight» mode, the focus is on intense firefights with 16 participants—no respawns, revives, or certain types of support. It can be played on six locations. The list of fresh battles is completed by «Air Superiority»—here, success requires active use of flying vehicles.
In the «Decent Prison», the overseer Grot has appeared, acting as a boss whose defeat brings a great reward. He patrols the corridors randomly, so operatives should stay alert. In «Operations», a loot rights system will become available: roughly speaking, whoever kills an enemy collects the trophies, and outsiders won't be able to do so. Among the new vehicles, the F-45A fighter jet stands out, and among the weapons—the lever-action Marlin rifle and the MK47 assault rifle.
