Been running GTA Online for a while? Now there's a reason

The company Rockstar Games, as you know, is now working on the sixth part of the famous series Grand Theft Auto. But the developers do not forget about their previous hits. In 2024, the first Red Dead Redemption finally became available on PC, and the other day came out GTA V Enhanced - an improved version of the legendary "five", which also includes changes to the online mode. But the best news is that all owners of the original can get it for free.

It should be noted that the upgrade only concerns PC owners, as console gamers have been using the improved version of the game for several years. But only now it has reached computers and became available on Steam, from where all owners of the 2015 release are free to download it. Also note that Enhanced is available as a separate client of 92 GB, that is, if the iron does not pull, you can be limited to the old distribution. And if you have a computer with modern characteristics (you should at least have SSD instead of HDD and a video card with support for real-time ray tracing), enjoy the improved masterpiece of Rockstar.

The developers tried to improve everything, including graphics and code. The game has more realistic shadows and reflections, integration of DLSS and raytracing, plenty of details on locations. On the map in online modes now you can meet wild animals. Also in multiplayer is allowed to transfer progress, use the new settings of cars and the service "Character Career". Unfortunately, the technical limitations are still great. It will not be possible to gather more than 30 people in one session, and if you need a large company, you will have to use the tried and tested method - to go to private paid servers.
