Free demo for a couple of days gained such popularity that it surpassed the demand for Team Fortress 2, Destiny 2, Rust, Warframe, War Thunder, and other multiplayer hits.

According to the compilation ratings of peak and daily online, Dark and Darker is now ranked seventh to ninth and is second only to online shooters of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, Apex Legends and PUBG level. However, the novelty is presented only a free demo - the full release has not yet been, and the exact release date of the game is still unknown. Unusual work, which has found a place for magic and medieval weapons, is compared to Escape from Tarkov.

Although the main action takes place in a dungeon and not in the open space, here it is also necessary to equip a character and go to the map to fight there with enemies controlled by artificial intelligence and live gamers, and then leave with the loot from the location. And the rules are hard: the death of the hero is fraught with loss of all items from the inventory, to defeat enemies is extremely difficult, and the most valuable prizes are guarded by bosses with an entourage. However, there is a choice of six classes - as in conventional RPGs, so you can adjust the style of combat to suit you.
