One of the important problems for modern multiplayer action games is cross-play - the ability to play in one session for owners of different platforms. And employees of Ubisoft, who are responsible for For Honor action game, are planning to make PC and console users could fight together in common locations. Recently on the official website the details of the update appeared - let's find out what and when we should wait for.

For Honor battles on different platforms

The developers plan to add crossplay in two stages, timing this process to the release of the next season of the game. Creating new features took Ubisoft years, because initially the technical base of the game did not imply anything like that. The first iteration is scheduled for March 17 - it will allow you to create groups of three heroes in PvP and PvE modes under the PC, PlayStation and Xbox owners. At the same time, the initial phase will reset the progress of gamers, so that owners of different devices can perform on an equal footing. Co-op in story campaigns, custom matches and training sessions will not be affected by the change.

The second phase of the update, which is not yet ready for release, will make For Honor crossplay everywhere. There will even be a general chat room for it. It's important to note that on March 17, co-op matches for PC and console users will be enabled by default - who doesn't like this decision, can deactivate this option in the main game menu.
