What is Fellowship? The game director explains

Axel Lindberg, director and founder of Chief Rebel studio, revealed details about his original project Fellowship, where four gamers play through dungeons in an MMORPG-style cooperative mode. During the presentation, the developer introduced a new heroine named Mara, talked about upcoming testing (currently open for registration), and events where the game will be featured. Here's what we know so far.

What makes Fellowship interesting?

Next week will see the second closed beta test with regular gamers. To participate, visit the official website and submit an application — registration with contact details is required. Previous test participants automatically qualify, but new applicants are being accepted (though spots are limited). All invitees must sign an NDA — sharing details about the game's current state won't be allowed. Lindberg announced the project will be showcased at Future Games Show during next year's Gamescom. Regarding in-game changes, the heroine Mara was announced — her skills focus on stealth and quick melee kills.

Fellowship draws inspiration from classic RPGs. Four players must assemble a party with complementary class abilities to tackle procedurally generated dungeons that increase in difficulty. Like traditional MMORPGs, the team's goal is defeating bosses and earning rewards.
