Camelot Unchained will be released on Steam as early as June 2

The developers of the old-school MMORPG Camelot Unchained from Unchained Entertainment studio announced that the early access release will take place literally in a matter of days, although the official Steam page currently states that the release date has not been announced. Moreover, the game's creators promise to release patches every two weeks, and in test mode, the novelty can be tried out until the end of this weekend. However, the offer is only valid for sponsors — those who invested money in the development and received a key. We are telling you what makes this project remarkable.

While gaming journalists around the world are discussing the genre crisis associated with a lack of fresh ideas, the creators of this MMORPG are not even trying to invent anything, but rather follow well-known principles. The main mode here is RvR, that is, battles between servers (worlds). The fairy-tale universe is divided into three kingdoms that are constantly fighting each other, and users are free to join one side or another to gain glory and resources for their faction on the battlefield. Each of these states features three races (making a total of nine) with unique abilities, so choosing a side of the conflict also means choosing a playstyle.

In addition to battles, there is also world exploration and PvE content, where heroes must defeat the guards protecting the treasures for a reward. There is also a profession system — character skill progression is based on it. At the same time, graphically, Camelot does not give the impression of a modern product — such is the price of displaying massive brawls in a single location. But let no one be deceived by the modest design, as the recommended system requirements list 32 GB of RAM and a graphics card on the level of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070.
