Hadouken! Capcom announced Street Fighter 6 and Fighting Collection

After intriguing gamers with a timer on the site, the Japanese publisher finally put the cards on the table. As it turned out, it's about the announcement of the sixth part of Street Fighter and a separate collection of games about fighting fighters. There is already information about this collection: a list of fighting games has been published, as well as the exact release date.

Capcom fans, including journalist Jeff Grubb, had guessed beforehand about the impending announcement of Street Fighter 6. It's no coincidence that this event coincided with the tournament on the fifth part. Nevertheless, the details are still scarce. In a short teaser showed a couple of fighters - Ryu - an old-timer of the series, and a newcomer Luke, who appeared in the add-on for Street Fighter V. Both make angry faces at each other and play with muscles.

More detailed talk about the game publishers have scheduled for this summer. However, judging by the reports of producer and designer Yusuke Hashimoto on Twitter, he is involved in the project. The man is known for his work on Bayonetta, Star Fox Zero and Resident Evil 0.

The compilation will include ten classic games, of which two, Vampire Hunter 2: Darkstalkers' Revenge and Vampire Savior 2: The Lord of Vampire, were previously released only in Japan. All works are made in a pixel style, but the new version promises to improve the balance. In addition they will make the online battles and player with soundtracks. The release date of the collection is June 24, 2022. It will be available on consoles, including Nintendo Switch, as well as on PC.
