The developers advised gamers to stay on the currently outdated 516.59 and 522.25 versions, because the update breaks the stability of the game - up to splashdown on the desktop. And one person told how even the Steam client "lags" when trying to launch the shooter again.

Journalists from PC Gamer reached out to NVIDIA employees for comment. And the reply was that the company is aware of the problem and is already working on a solution. That is why the latest Game Ready driver support list does not include the new Call of Duty. What is remarkable here is that usually the first thing people update the drivers if there are any problems with the games, as the developers are advised to do. But in this case, the standard solution only makes things worse.
