The Storage Guys will be out soon
Interesting multiplayer simulators are becoming more and more numerous. Gamers have already played as salesmen, security guards and store managers, but what about the warehouse? In the new game by independent studio Raynmakyr you have to team up with your friends and take charge of the backrooms of a large company: unload and sort goods, hire and fire AI-workers, get involved in shady dealings and, of course, calculate profits. Specified in Steam release date of the project is November 7. Let's tell you what we know about it at the moment.
What to expect from Storage Guys?
Several players will join forces to manage a warehouse in cooperative mode. At your disposal will be the ports of entry, where trucks with goods arrive - it must be unloaded on pallets, arranged on racks and sorted by the marks on the boxes. Each package also has a time limit on it, within which it must be sent onward, otherwise losses will be incurred. The storage conditions also differ: one should be kept in the cold, another under ultraviolet light, and for the third the floor of a normal hangar will do. To cope with all tasks in time, you can hire artificial intelligence assistants with the money you earn.
The built-in editor allows you to customize your possessions as you like: arrange shelves in any order, increase the area and separate rooms. But the bigger your territory is, the more work and fuel for generators you need to maintain it. And if finances are bad, it makes sense to make a secret room where illegal goods from smugglers will be stored. The risk of getting fined during an inspection is, of course, high, but the profit is also considerable.
