Broken Ranks received a story update

Polish MMORPG Broken Ranks offers heroes to join the Uthor army, pretending to be recruits, to uncover sinister secrets. The Other Side is a grand story-driven adventure where gamers will face battles with monsters, numerous role-playing skill checks, and social stealth, as success requires becoming one of the enemy. The game also received patch 8.53, which includes a continuation of the story for those who have leveled up to 70, daily quests «Shadows» and «Grain of Chaos», as well as a number of fixes.

The Uthorians still occupy part of Thalia, but their power is gradually waning. Because heroes can use deception to obtain secret information and finally learn who is imprisoned in the Citadel and what experiments the mages are conducting behind closed doors. All it takes is pretending to be a rookie soldier and secretly aiding the Taernian resistance. But be careful: one mistake—and the exposed spy will be executed. Along the way, you'll also need to devise a plan to infiltrate the Citadel—the operation can be carried out either by brute force or through stealthy means.

In the expansion, you can appreciate the new locations. In addition to the areas familiar from Shadow of Hope, nothing stops you from entering Uthorian barracks, a laboratory, a library, the Gray Alleys, and, of course, the Citadel. The story chapter also comes with thematic outfits—you can dress your hero in the «Armor of the Silent» and keep it even after completing the story.
