As promised by the developers from Facepunch, their MMO survival game has received a major update. In addition to a new biome in it are available items of equipment, points of interest, improvements for the headquarters and even unseen before the mechanics of movement. Now instead of walking on the ground, Rust heroes can grab vines and fly on them from one tree to another like Tarzan. Let's talk about all the changes in the May patch in more detail.
What are the interesting things about the jungle added to Rust?
Tropical forests cover part of the coastal zone in the game world. The terrain here is more or less flat, but visibility is impaired by the dense vegetation. Not only tall trees, but also shrubs, including pineapples and monstera, are evergreen here. The largest representatives of the flora are kapok, or cottonwood trees wrapped in vines. It is these vines that allow the heroes to jump from branch to branch without their feet touching the ground. But first you have to climb up the vines to get a good vantage point and protection from predators. Tigers and crocodiles will not chase you on sprawling crowns. Also keep in mind that the vine is not a ziplane: if you are traveling with friends, you have to push it back after the jump.
