I will definitely survive: Blizzard is building a new world

This game studio developed classic series like Warcraft and Diablo for many years. But after Microsoft announced the purchase of Activision Blizzard, things have moved from the dead point. It became known that the developers are busy creating a game with survival elements in a completely new universe.

Back on January 20, Blizzard CEO Mike Ybarra published an open letter, which shared his views on the future of his team. He promised to increase the efficiency of managers and staff, as well as to focus on the development of new products. It turned out that Ibarra's words do not disagree with the case - just five days after his statements, it became known that the Blizzard staff is creating a work, not related to the previous series of the studio. It will be a fantastic adventure with battle and survival mechanics.

The game doesn't even have a name yet. But according to Mike Ybarra, it can already be launched, and there is also multiplayer. The president of Blizzard said that he tried to survive in the virtual world together with his colleagues - and he was very impressed with the experience. However, there's still a lot of work ahead: the development team is actively replenished, the studio's website has more than ten vacancies. Judging by the official illustrations, we are talking about a mixture of modern world and fantasy. And given the recent deal with Microsoft, the novelty will be released on PC and modern Xbox consoles.
