Black Desert opens the inner lands of Idania

The company Pearl Abyss has released an update for its fantasy MMORPG Black Desert, where it opened up an entire area for gamers, consisting of four regions and six hunting zones. Here, heroes will encounter powerful bosses and rewards befitting their feats. They will also be able to obtain improved equipment, fight in PvP mode for control over the territory, receive incentives for exploring objects, and complete a series of tasks in anticipation of the next story chapter, scheduled for release in September.

But first, let's discuss the content available in the game right now.

The continent of Idania has until now been only partially open, but with the release of the update, the developers have made its inner territories accessible. Four beings hold these lands under control — Agris, Maktanan, Ellian, and Aal. Heroes will have to go through many battles and challenge the forces that have plunged this part of the map into darkness. All the aforementioned rulers also act as bosses, but to engage them in combat, you must first take the corresponding quest, equip red-rank gear, and also ensure that your character has sufficient stats. For example, Agris in the Temple of Aphrodon has a minimum threshold of 405+ attack and 485+ defense.

The added area also includes six hunting zones where you are allowed to raise your stats by destroying monsters. In addition, exterminating mobs allows you to fulfill the conditions necessary for access to the PvP activity "Throne of Idan" — in it, the best fighters battle each other for the right to control the lands of Idania, and the winner receives not only the domain but also regalia with gifts. However, everyone who takes the throne must be prepared for the fact that a new contender will challenge them. Those who like to explore the area will find items with challenges, after which rewards are granted. The developers note that the main storyline related to the history of the continent will appear in the game later.
