Battles with monsters in GTA style: BeastLink announced

Grove Street Games studio presented an online action game where people fight huge kaiju monsters to then take control of one of these monsters. Destructible environments, a rich selection of weapons and vehicles — from ordinary cars to tanks and airplanes — are promised. The design and gameplay of BeastLink are reminiscent of the Grand Theft Auto series for a reason, as these same developers once released a remake of the classic GTA trilogy, which abounded in neural network enhancements and caused a mixed reaction from the public.

What is interesting about BeastLink from the creators of GTA: The Trilogy?

According to the game's description, its action takes place after a global catastrophe, when the few survivors are forced to fight monsters. However, neither in the video nor in the screenshots is there a hint of a post-apocalyptic setting. 32 people can participate on the map in one match. Their main goal is to defeat the kaiju, using all means for this, including armored vehicles. Along the way, the heroes must collect a special serum from sleeping creatures. As soon as someone collects enough of this substance, they will be able to take control of a giant monster with unique abilities. The developers focus primarily on PvP, although they do not specify exactly what rules the battles will follow.

However, they strongly emphasize the destructible environment feature thanks to the SuperDestruction technology. Any building on the level can be demolished if you strike properly with paws, claws, and teeth. The project's release date has not been announced yet, but the system requirements are already known. Among the recommended ones are 32 GB of RAM, an 8th generation Intel i7 processor, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070-level graphics card. Online users noted that neither the game's design nor the destruction shown in it can require such high-performance components. However, the participants of the testing, which will start on May 8, will be able to check the new game personally — to sign up for it, it is enough to request access on Steam.
