Pioner authors promise technical optimization
If previously high hopes were placed on the MMO shooter from the Russian company GFAGames, then after its release on the Rostelecom Games platform, the action game started collecting negative reviews. Then news emerged that the developers had faced a financial crisis and would have to declare themselves bankrupt. Nevertheless, work on the project Pioner continues — mainly, the upcoming updates will affect the technical side, which users have been complaining about since the very day of release.
How will Pioner change in the near future?

In theory, the game could have become a real hit, because it offers everything that gamers love so much. It features a post-apocalyptic setting, battles with mutants, mysterious anomalies, as well as a large open world, survival, and multiplayer with PvP and PvE raids against bosses. But, as usual, the technical side let it down — it is precisely this that everyone who left a negative review on Steam is talking about. It seems that the GFAGames studio perfectly understands this, which is why they promise to seriously polish their creation. According to the official statement, the team will spend the next three months fixing the biggest bugs.
Preparation for Early Access version 2.0 is currently underway, albeit not according to the scheduled timeline. New content will be presented soon — apparently in the form of DLC, although there is no data on this yet. As for the changes to the action game's code, this autumn they promise to optimize server logs to offload the servers themselves and make them run more stably. In addition, the remote procedure call process will be fixed — from the client side, this will help reduce all delays. Finally, the save system will be brought to an adequate state, so that users' data remains safe and loads without problems when necessary.
