Dinosaurs for free. ARK: Survival Evolved promotion

During the summer gaming presentation, Microsoft shared a trailer of the upcoming ARK 2 - with Vin Diesel sitting on top of a Tyrannosaurus. Unlike the previously shown cinematic, this video was recorded on the game engine. On the occasion of such an important announcement, the first part of the multiplayer survival simulator was made free on Steam. To participate it is enough to allocate 60 GB on your hard drive and just add the game to your account.

As is customary in survival simulations, in the world of ARK players appear without weapons or other equipment. To survive, they must mine resources, hunt, build, and tame animals - including dinosaurs. And gamers do not do it alone, because on the servers there are other people. With them you can make friends, forming a tribe with a common base, or to arrange a battle. Survival Evolved is distinguished by a variety of mechanics: here it is necessary to monitor not only the food, but also the water and the climate, as well as to grow and collect crops. Add exploration of post-apocalyptic ruins and some magic to get the full picture.

In addition to the game, which is now free, there are discounts on Steam for all its add-ons. Moreover the Fjordur Free DLC is already in free access, so you do not have to invest money in the latest content. The action will last until June 19 inclusive. As for ARK 2, it will be released only in 2023 - there is enough time to get acquainted with the first part.
