Expansion for Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity announced

ArenaNet staff continue to release content for their fantasy MMORPG Guild Wars 2. This time they are preparing the The Only Way patch, aimed at improving the game in the Visions of Eternity version — this is already the sixth paid expansion of the free-to-play project. The release of the update is scheduled for May 12 this year, and it will bring even more story chapters, the development of the heroes' role-playing characteristics, unique items, and a new location for adventures. Let's discuss all the changes in more detail.

If you have already purchased the main expansion, you will be able to download this patch for free right on the day of its release. Here you will learn how the main plot has developed, only the action will take place in a new location — in the Garden of Eternity, where Vlox and his minions are preparing another evil deed. In total, five additional story chapters will be available, and then subsequent updates will continue it. In addition to opponents, the developers have also added support for heroes who dare to challenge the forces of evil. We are talking primarily about a couple of new mastery levels, but not only about them.

Also, starting May 12, six relics affecting combat styles and legendary accessories for achievements in PvP and PvE will be added to the game. This set will be supplemented with rewards for completing trials in the "Wizard's Haven". It is known that the developers plan to release another patch with activities and story quests, so it is too early to put an end to the events of "Visions of Eternity".
