A new threat has been announced in Star Wars: The Old Republic
The authors of the MMORPG set in the Star Wars universe have revealed how their game will change after the upgrade to version 8.0. The developers presented a storyline where heroes will need to deal with the consequences of Darth Malgus's machinations, as well as an update to the role-playing system, combat with enemies, difficulty settings, operations, and much more. Additionally, until December 26, players can enter the code GETRDY4MOTF in their personal SWTOR account to receive a monster pet. Let's find out what else lies ahead for the inhabitants of a galaxy far, far away in the near future.
Details on Star Wars: The Old Republic version 8.0

The update has been named Masters of the Force, and the staff at Broadsword studio consider it nothing less than the beginning of the next era in the project's development. The patch will bring Star Wars fans the Galaxy in Chaos storyline: the defenders of space will need to visit the Twi'leks' home planet, where the dark side, amplified by Darth Malgus's abilities, has proven especially powerful — the world has become mired in chaos, with monsters of all kinds running rampant. Here, on Ryloth in the Outer Rim, brave souls will join the fight against the Hutt Cartel. But if the adventures seem too dangerous, the expansion will allow players to switch the difficulty. After the update goes live, three levels — "Story," "Veteran," and "Master" — will be available for all activities on the map.
Character creation will also be updated: it will be different for classic and expert game modes. In other words, in PvE, everyone will be able to choose the level of danger and pacing they prefer. Experienced users can look forward to the "Children of the Null" operation with three bosses and parties of up to eight members. This event is promised to launch in "Story" and "Veteran" formats, with the Master version coming later. By the way, a trial battle is already available on the test server. Finally, the maximum character level will be raised to 85, and the combat and progression systems will be refined.
