A new game from the creators of Splitgate has been announced
Studio 1047 Games, known for the free-to-play online shooter Splitgate, has announced the development of a new game — Empulse. This will also be a multiplayer action game, but featuring huge walking robots. The new title is already being compared to the Titanfall series, as it will also require taking control of military machines and using acrobatic elements in combat, such as wall-running. However, some differences in visual style and setting have been promised.

The shooter's action will unfold in the post-utopian city of Freehold, whose streets offer plenty of room for maneuvers. Since parkour plays a major role in the game, everyone will be able to forge their own path through the buildings using a grappling hook, ladders, and springboards. Difficult sections can be traversed right along the walls — just like in Titanfall. Additionally, the heroes' arsenal will include P.A.I.N.T. bombs capable of changing any surface. Two teams of six players will clash in battle, and taking control of a mech — an armored robot that opponents will have to work together as a whole squad to defeat — will play a crucial role.
The project's release date has not been announced yet — it was only stated that the release will happen soon. However, the recommended system requirements are already known. Among them are a 64-bit Windows operating system, a 7th-generation Intel Core i5 processor or AMD Ryzen 5, 12 gigabytes of RAM, and a graphics card at the level of the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060. If this information is correct, the requirements look quite accessible — even outdated computers will be able to handle the action game.
