Another game in the PUBG universe has been announced

The company Krafton continues to add spin-offs of various genres and quality levels to the famous battle royale. At the Gamescom exhibition, the developers announced another shooter with the subtitle DED.NET. Its main feature will be roguelite elements — each new shootout here will be unlike the previous one, but the heroes will nevertheless become stronger as they gain experience. Also noteworthy is the 1990s setting. Finding out whether everything is as fun as shown in the trailer will be possible during beta testing, which will take place in the coming months.

There is not much information about the upcoming new release yet. The shooter's action will unfold in 1990s Cascadia, and the matches will be based on classic PUBG multiplayer. On the map, both lone fighters and squads of several characters dressed in bizarre punk outfits will battle each other. The open world, the most diverse arsenal, and the ability to use vehicles — not only for movement but also for shooting right while driving — will all remain. Roguelite elements, making each sortie unpredictable, will help you return to the battlefield with great excitement. The game's creators reported that one battle won't be enough to understand their concept — a whole series is necessary.

It's also worth noting that AI opponents in the form of mutants, various monsters, and supernatural entities will appear in the locations. Thus, the format turns out to be PvPvE. The project's release date has not been announced yet, but a closed beta test with participant selection should take place soon. The recommended system requirements include Windows 11, 16 GB of RAM, an NVIDIA RTX 3060-level graphics card, and an SSD drive, specifically with an NVMe data transfer protocol.
