Free-to-play MMORPG Dark Craft announced

Employees of the independent studio Take Top Entertainment presented a dark online game, which the public has already dubbed a cross between Minecraft and Elden Ring. Here, knights assembled from cubes fight terrifying monsters and each other, explore abandoned castles in search of treasures and challenge giant bosses, acting alone or in a group. The release date of the game has not yet been announced, but the developers have already announced that it will be free-to-play. We tell what is known about the new release at the moment.

The game's action takes place in an open world, where nightmares and whimsical fantasies in the spirit of Hidetaka Miyazaki's work come to life. The combat system is also developed with an eye on the Souls series — with direct character control, blocks and rolls. The virtual universe is full of secrets and dangers, and there are also secrets that heroes will have to discover. You will be allowed to do this both alone and in the company of friends, at the same time, encountered heroes may turn out to be hostile — PvP battles are also announced. Another interesting moment of the announcement is the management of events in the game universe by game masters. Employees of Take Top Entertainment will directly influence the development of all storylines to create a feeling of living and unpredictable adventures.

On the other hand, algorithms are promised that control the behavior of NPCs and the development of the main storyline regardless of the decisions and actions of individual users. In addition, real people themselves will sometimes take control of some bosses and set traps for gamers. How all this will be implemented technically and how large-scale it will be, no one has yet clarified. But it is known that the MMORPG will be made free-to-play, and for its launch on PC, 8 GB of RAM and a graphics card with DirectX support will be required.
