Announcement of the construction update for Fallout 76

The creative director of the post-apocalyptic MMORPG Fallout 76 John Rush made an important announcement. On September 2, the game will receive a major update called C.A.M.P. Revamp — it's easy to guess that it's dedicated to building and developing a personal base. This expansion includes not only items but also menu adjustments. In particular, additional subcategory tabs will appear within object categories. At the same time, the developers from Bethesda shared their plans for the near future.

Players have highly appreciated the ability to build a base in the middle of a world destroyed by nuclear war. Everyone can create their own haven where neither mutants nor other adventure-seeking gamers can reach. The Revamp expansion will be the culmination of the development of such shelters. The builder, which holds thousands of objects, is being made more structured. John Rush demonstrated this using lamps as an example: you have a general section with them, but inside it, you can choose a tab with freestanding devices, wall-mounted ones, and so on. Additionally, the video showcased a rare method of placing a camp at a height — it's not only safe but also beautiful: you can position yourself to overlook the entire area.

Plans by Bethesda employees for the project's development this fall have also been revealed. After the user construction contest in September, there will be a big sale and the Invaders from Beyond event. The traditional «Fallout Day» will be celebrated on October 23, and then you can visit the virtual «Atomic Shop» to dress up your characters for Halloween. In November, the heroes of Appalachia will enjoy treasure hunt activities and events dedicated to the game's seventh anniversary.
