The release of the spin-off MMORPG New World by Amazon is approaching - as we know, it is scheduled for October 15. And while the public is waiting for this significant date, the developers are heating up its interest in every possible way. They have already released a beautiful trailer and told about the location for PvP, which was named The Cursed Mists. There are no rules here, everyone fights against everyone, and the heroes in the scuffle need to fill the purse with doubloons by any means. But let's talk about everything in order.

The action of the new battles will unfold in the southwest of the Keys of Cutlass, where the curse of lust for profit falls upon the characters. Everyone wants to seize the gold of La Esperanza, but not everyone can pass the test. Heroes on the location can join squads, although this does not give anyone protection from friendly fire - AoE attacks, for example, are equally strong on both friends and enemies. In addition, the combat conditions open up a wide field for machinations - nothing prevents you from stabbing your buddy in the back and running away with his goodies. There are no penalties for such behavior. After the death of any hero in his place remain accumulated doubloons, which can be picked up by anyone. And even though all the dead soon return to the battlefield, they risk not finding their prey in the marked point. Then everything has to start all over again.

Developers see "Cursed Mists" as a kind of experiment. They want to observe how users will behave if all the rules are canceled, and whether in such conditions people will often unite into effective teams. Gamers also benefit: only here it will be possible to get equipment for 700+ power without joining a squad to participate in a raid. The solution is just right for loners. Now the zone is available in test form, and after collecting criticism it will be finalized and added to the release version of Aeternum.
