Announcement of the first major update for Where Winds Meet

The Chinese MMO game about adventures in the world of Eastern folklore has firmly established itself as a hit on Steam since its release. But no major patches have been released for it until now. Only on March 6 will the staff of Everstone studio present an update called Hexi to the whole world — it will be free, just like the entire project. With its release, gamers will get access to an entire region, three story chapters, encounters with unfamiliar characters, rewards for feats, a battle pass, and something else in Where Winds Meet.

The Hexhi territory is divided into three biomes, each connected to its own storyline. In the desert, you'll encounter peculiar creatures inhabiting the sands, learn fresh tricks from the martial arts arsenal, and even restore ancient ruins with the power of magic to uncover secrets and challenge General Guo Xin. Other hostile creatures are promised, and even an adventure involving a ghost ship that emerges from the dunes like a mirage. Those who reach the Jade Gate will find a passage to the snowy lands of Liangzhou, where mountain peaks touch the clouds and an entire city floats in the sky under the moon.

The list of announced locations is completed by the Qinchuan steppe. Here, heroes will be greeted by pastoral landscapes and ancient monuments. Fans of unusual fighting styles can master techniques related to the use of wind and sand here, as well as appreciate the improved parkour mechanics. All game changes are inspired by the aesthetics of the Tang Dynasty. Very soon, fans of the wuxia genre will be able to find out for themselves whether the developers succeeded in their vision.
