The game, called "The Last Train" in the Russian localization, is dedicated to traveling on the railroad in a deserted world after the apocalypse. Gamers can make stops at any moment, collect supplies, explore mysterious alien monoliths and improve the train. The project is a lot like Voidtrain, but without flying in the astral and battles with air sharks. Let's tell you what we know about this interesting novelty at the moment.

Imagine an extinct world covered with a network of railroads. You can travel along the rails alone or with a group of friends, as multiplayer is promised for The Last Train. You'll start with a small train on ordinary wheelsets, but then you'll get to the construction of a steam locomotive, pulling cars-houses, vegetable garden, workshops and laboratories. The game is declared as a survival simulator, so in the virtual world you will have to constantly collect and mine something - not only for construction, but also just to maintain life. This is where the role distribution in the four-person co-op comes in handy.

Developers from Washbear Studios report that as you wander around, you'll also need to plant rare plant samples on the platform to restore endangered biomes, and make stops near alien structures. The gameplay is accompanied by beautiful views from mountain slopes and high suspended bridges. It will be difficult to go far from the train, because the farther away the heroes go, the harder they will have to go. Where there are no dangerous animals, people will be poisoned by dovitic vapors. Also promised plot with progression to the final point - escape into space.
