Announcement and beta test of the laser tank game Loaders

Studio Tower Five has presented an online shooter about armored vehicles that fly above the ground and fight with lasers. The equipment in the game can be outfitted and customized at will, and then engage in 10v10 matches to determine who prepared better. The project is currently in beta testing, so anyone interested can join the trials, while the final release date remains unknown. However, the developers confirm that Loaders will definitely be free.

Tower Five, of course, chose a popular theme. There are plenty of free-to-play tank games out there. But here, the vehicles are not entirely ordinary—they hover above the ground thanks to anti-gravity fields and are armed according to all the rules of science fiction. The story unfolds in the year 2525 on Earth, where warring Houses battle for resources. But the people of the future fight in an unusual way—they upload their consciousness into machines so that, in case of death, they can reinstall the data and return to the battlefield. The shooter promises fully destructible environments, as well as fine-tuning tanks with a choice of five classes and the installation of active and passive modules.

The playtest begins on July 21—if the project interests you, it's advisable to sign up by then by clicking the «Request Access» button on the Steam page. Both now and upon release, the game is free for everyone. However, since it's being developed by a small team of independent developers, they will likely include some purchasable options, such as armor decorations.
