Age of Water has received a major update
For over a year now, gamers have been building boats, mounting guns of various calibers on them, and battling pirates in the open world of the online action game by studio Three Whales. But only now have the developers gotten around to addressing some pressing issues, including multiplayer activities on islands in the middle of the ocean. Also, with the release of patch 1.0.177.3855, the game Age of Water has received a clan system, an autopilot that guides ships along sea currents has become available, and numerous bugs have been fixed. This is, of course, not all of the changes — we'll tell you more about them in detail.
What was added in Age of Water version 1.0.177.3855?

It has finally happened: clans are now available in the game. Each of them can have up to 20 members, clans have their own activities on the map, separate chats, and their own currency. In addition, nothing prevents you from distributing roles: someone will become the leader, someone an officer, and the rest will remain as ordinary members. An interesting bonus — a one-time grant of 500 clan currency at the moment the group is created. These funds can be spent on something valuable — for example, on ship parts. Disbanding a clan is irreversible: afterwards, it cannot be revived with the same name.
In on-foot mode, you no longer have to travel alone. When landing for walks on islands, you will be able to meet characters controlled by other players and interact with them. A trial version of this mechanic is available in the "Volcano Entrance" location. Finding partners for joint activities has also become easier, by the way: you can now invite people to your group even if they are not on your friends list, and the entire process can now be tracked in the updated search interface.
Among other changes, we note that rewards in PvE are now awarded not only for the final blow to an opponent, but also for the overall contribution to dealing damage. The same applies to boss battles. Quest items are now distributed among crew members separately from regular loot, and crew settings are saved for each vessel. Finally, autopilot has become available by pressing Ctrl + V, that is, "Full speed ahead!" — in this case, a boat already in one of the currents will follow wherever the waves carry it.
