Begin your investigation by reading the information in the letters and newspapers, then seek out the valuable inventory you need to investigate and solve the mysteries. The locations you have to visit are many - the cart at Moro's house, the magician's tent, and other unexpected places. Everywhere there will be at least one useful item, and don't be embarrassed that sometimes they don't look like that at all, like, for example, a knife covered with rust.

To move freely through the locations and be able to get where you need to go in seconds, use the map.
