This project has very successfully combined several genres in its storyline. The company of teenagers is forced to confront them in order to save their lives.

A peculiarity of the game is that the game mechanics is tightly connected with the dialogues of the main characters and their actions. The gamer can change the plot of the story depending on his actions and behavior. The story can change beyond recognition. mystical action on the island occurs without interruption, going in parallel with the development of gameplay. In any other format, it would be incredibly difficult, if not impossible, to recreate something like this project.

Mass Effect 2

The game Mass Effect, is the largest AAA project. It reveals the theme of interesting adventures in outer space and combat battles with aliens. Throughout the game, players explore the universe in the person of Commander Shepard. He personally recruits fighters for his team to lead the fight against a race of Collectors. Team commander himself decides who to take to the team exploring the character and skills of new recruits. He must intuitively determine with whom, and what relationships to maintain. All of these decisions and actions affect the course of the game. The squad leader has a huge responsibility for each recruited team member. In the end, the entire team comes together in a decisive battle against a race of Collectors. It is in this battle that much depends on the choices made by each team member and contact with the enemy. All actions and decisions play into the positive outcome of the game.

Gone Home

This is a classic of an interesting walking simulator that emphasizes the narrative component of the project. The storyline is about a girl, Katie, who has returned home from a long journey. She has not been here for many years. So wandering around her native home, touching painfully familiar walls, objects, the protagonist is immersed in memories, remembering what happened here a while ago. We learn about the tragic fate of her sister, who confessed her non-traditional orientation to her parents, and they pushed her away and turned her away. No one reached out to the girl, branded her and cut her out of their hearts. The girl left home and never returned to its walls. It is a story that, because it is told in this format, touches people's hearts and minds deeply. This drama can be presented in such a way only in the format of video games, neither books nor movies will convey the full range of feelings of the main character.

What Remains Of Edith Finch

This is one of the projects that can safely be called a masterpiece in this kind of art. Anyone who was able to pass this game and get to the final, will not be able to call this project an ordinary entertainment. And if that happens, the player is just being cunning and hiding the truth, or just being stubborn and not going to compromise. The storyline tells us an interesting story of the Edith French family, with a deepening into the distant past.

The game begins with the fact that we read a letter addressed to us by the main character. And then, in her character, we begin to explore her ancestral home. We walk through the entire house where her ancestors lived. Each family member had his own room, which can tell a lot about its owner. The gameplay of the game is designed in such a way that the player, by visiting the room, can see a lot, the death of a relative, the reason for it. And slowly the player, in the form of the main character, learns all the secrets of the Finch estate, their family curse. The finale of the game brings us surprises. It turns out that we have our own way of perceiving what is happening, and made the wrong conclusions.
At the end of the game it turns out that Edith Finch died, a long time ago, and the player was reading a letter on her behalf, Edith's son. The peculiarity of the game is that we are like a mosaic, step by step, put together from the individual elements of the overall picture of what happened. We get acquainted with the family members, learn their characters, who loved what, and who was into what, their fears and habits from which it is so difficult to get rid of. The player's exploration turns into an adventure filled with bright, colorful colors. The story is moving in its own way, evoking many different emotions, from sadness and regret, to the joy of discovering a mystery.

By the end of the game, we know all the subtleties of character and temperament of the characters, without words and explanations, we understand what pushed a person to this or that action. The picture is gradually evolving into a common canvas, motives for action become clear. Such a project, in which the player can participate in the game on behalf of the main character and feel the full range of his emotions, can only be embodied in this format of video games.
